A few years ago I took a recently-arrived Schipperke "Buck" AmCh/NZCH Tumbleweed's Red Letter Day (Imp USA) to a show on behalf of his new owner, Sandra Macklin, and was thrilled to bring home a Best of Group and Intermediate of Group for her...
So now it is with pride I co-own one of his sons, and we introduce "Kobe", who is also the nephew of the biggest winning Schipperke in the history of the breed here in NZ "Chase" Multi RUBIS Ch Lisbonlions Texas Ranger, also owned by Sandra.
Buck (with Sandra handling), and Chase (with daughter Chelsea at the helm) and their progeny have consistently and regularly won at all levels, their quality being recognised by both local and international judges. Now their progeny are also making their presence felt in Australia and Finland.
Kobe achieved his title at his first show as a junior and his tally so far reads:
Baby of Group,
Puppy of Group,
5 x NZBred of Group
3 x Reserve of Groups
5th Place NZBred Stakes All Breeds
Best of Group 4th.(This at 7 months of age)

Kobe and his siblings "Marnie" Sanlyn Black Diamond, and "Kash" Sanlyn True Colours are from the lovely "Charlotte, who gained her NZ title here while on loan from Debra Howell (NSW),and between the three of them, the Schipperkes will be remaining in the winners' circle for some time to come.
At home, Kobe is quite a clown, happily playing with the Cockers or Saint Bernards, but has appointed himself the watchdog of the clan.
We look forward to more success with Kobe in the show-ring, but more importantly a lifetime of companionship with our "little captain".
